2014
Benjamin’s sister, Baylee, standing next to her best friend and Benjamin’s future wife. Benjamin spotted Peyton at Baylee’s dance recital and knew he had to meet her. Their first date at Dairy Queen set the tone for a relationship full of laughs. He later asked her to homecoming with a Lord of the Rings sign, “will you go to homecoming with me, my precious?”, but they skipped the dance and went bowling instead. Even through college, Benjamin drove home almost every weekend to see Peyton, proving they were always each other’s first choice.
2014
Their first trip together was a spring break ski and snowboard adventure in Crested Butte, Colorado. Benjamin picked up snowboarding faster than anyone expected and instantly became the MVP of the friends and family ski crew. What started as a fun getaway quickly turned into a life-changing trip, planting the seed for their future move to Colorado.
2016
After community college, they both headed to Western Colorado University in Gunnison. Benjamin dove into computer science while Peyton explored art and graphic design. Between classes, they snowboarded almost every week, camped in the stunning mountains, and built friendships that would last a lifetime.
2019
In the Spring, a scientist and an artist were born as Benjamin and Peyton graduated. That year marked the start of their next big adventure, diving into the real world and hunting for jobs.
2020
They found their way to Fort Collins, Colorado after bouncing between Gunnison, Austin, and Dallas during the early pandemic. After Benjamin’s brother, Jordan, passed away, they took in his dog Dallas, who quickly became their comfort and constant companion. With both working remotely, they hit the road for countless adventures, always with Dallas right by their side.
2023
Finally! After 10 years together, Benjamin popped the question. The morning after Peyton’s 28th birthday, in a Denver hotel with huge windows and snow pouring down outside, he asked her to marry him. Benjamin had spent four months designing the ring himself, with help from his sister Baylee, making it completely one-of-a-kind. And of course, SHE SAID YES!!!

The Next Chapter
We’re so excited for what’s ahead; the chaotic adventures, the quiet moments, and everything in between. This next chapter is just beginning, and we can’t wait to see where it takes us.
